Philosophy Statement
We will conduct each of our classrooms in age appropriate growth, development and behavior. We will teach our children in a classroom setting with adult guidance. It is our belief that the environment plays an important part in a child’s learning ability and also in teaching children social skills.
With age appropriate toys and activities you can teach a child how to share with others and at the same time have learning activities.
Children learn not only by what the teachers teach, but by watching other children. Centers are important in the development of children by teaching them to use their imagination, creativity and social skills. It is also our belief that each child should have safe and secure outdoor play time on a daily basis
Curriculum Statement
It is important for a child to be able to make a choice of what he or she would like to participate in for free play time. So centers are important with guild lines that the children are to follow. It is also important for children to understand that they also need to participate in structured learning time and that each child should be giving a chance to speak freely, but to also learn to respect each others time to share.
We create centers that teach children in all areas of learning including reading/language development, social skills, science and arts & crafts. Our program is a Christian base center so we also incorporate pray time and bible stories. Each teacher is free to choose age appropriate centers and curriculum.
