We are a United Methodist Church that specializes in connecting people to God, connecting people to God’s people, and connecting people to God’s purpose for their lives. Our mission (our line of business) is to help all of these connections happen. For that reason, we offer worship in several styles, places, and times. We offer ministries and programs for all age groups throughout the year. We offer ways to put our lives to use in the church, the community, and the world that make differences in peoples lives.
We believe that the Triune God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) has loved us first, chiefly through the life, kingdom message, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. That love was so well demonstrated that it changed the lives of Jesus’ earliest followers into ministries, missionaries, leaders, and mentors. They literally went from consuming students to empowered ministers in a matter of weeks. God’s Spirit helped them continue the loving mission and message of Jesus, their founder.
The church is a global network of human followers with the same mission: receiving and believing in God’s love through Christ in our own lives and finding relevant and effective ways of sharing that love in an amazing but hurting world. God is trying to reach the entire world with love that overturns evil, injustice, and spiritual distance from our roots in Him. God is leading this venture (kingdom of God) and our church is one of many Christian gatherings whose journey is to reach all we can with the same love that has turned us. Love that gets people’s attention is ministry that hits the mark. We are a church learning to become a ministry church, where actively showing the love of Jesus to real people is becoming our specialty. None of us are perfect, but we are all on the same journey with the help of God’s Spirit and leadership.
