BA in Youth Ministry from Howard Payne University in Brownwood, TX. MA in Religious Education with a Youth Ministry Emphasis from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Ft Worth, TX. I served as Minister of Youth for 5 years at First Southern Baptist Church in Ferris , TX and as Minister of Youth and Education at Grace Baptist Church in Seaford, DE for 6 years before coming here. I am single. Have one sister, Shari, That lives in Colorado Springs Colorado with her husband Brian Bouldin, and their two kids, Brady and Tori. My mom lives in Dallas, Tx and my Dad lives outside Atlanta, GA.

When my nephew, Brady was adopted in 2000, I wanted to find a way to move closer to my sister’s family. I began searching for a new church and found that this church was looking for a youth minister. Although it looked like a perfect fit, I was not convinced that I was ready to move on from the Baptist church that I had been raised and educated in. I did not apply for the job here. Five months later, a consultant called me and told me that he had a perfect fit church for me. As soon as I heard the description, I knew it was First UMC Farmington and this time I felt I could not turn away from the opportunity. I accepted the position and have been serving here for nearly 7 years.
