Why Women Kill: Season 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (1) Kylie Northover The Age (Australia) It’s an almost cartoonish dark farce led by a sensational cast. Tolman, whose entire demeanour changes incrementally throughout the series, is totally compelling. Rated: 4/5 Jan 20, 2022 Full Review Why Women Kill: Season 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (2) Gwen Ihnat AV Club A frump becoming a society diva just seems like a thin storyline... Fortunately, Cherry once again knows how to cast his female leads. If there's anyone we'd want to watch blossom over the course of a season, it's the effervescent Tolman. Rated: B- Jun 4, 2021 Full Review Why Women Kill: Season 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (3) Kristen Lopez indieWire There's so much beauty in every frame, from the costumes to the production design - and actors able to rise to the occasion - that it's easy to ignore that the series isn't necessarily stretching itself. Rated: B- Jun 4, 2021 Full Review Why Women Kill: Season 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (4) Sarah McMullan Stuff.co.nz Tolman and Frost are delightful together, and Parilla is suitably evil in a drop-dead glamorous way. Jun 11, 2021 Full Review Why Women Kill: Season 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (5) Matt Roush TV Insider The ensuing lurid shenanigans are cartoonish to a campy extreme, and it's hard to care who'll end up killing whom in their venal, petty squabbles. Jun 4, 2021 Full Review Why Women Kill: Season 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (6) Carissa Pavlica TV Fanatic [Tolman is] perfectly cast as Alma, who will experience an awakening that will set her on a course, as the voiceover says at the beginning of the hour, from inconsequential to infamous. Andrei D Predictable and filled with unlikable people Rated 2.5/5 Stars • Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 09/30/24 Full Review Ruby M I didn’t think the second season would steal my heart as much as the 1st one but boy was I wrong. This is tv and omg this season exceed my expectations. Like wow. All the awards for the cast. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/27/24 Full Review Shanda M This was wonderful, I loved every minute of it. Very talented cast. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/04/24 Full Review Leta S I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked season one, but not so much season two. The storyline is no where as interesting as the intertwined stories in season one. Here we go again with the ridiculous romance between a great looking guy and a rotund girl. What is the deal! Rated 2.5/5 Stars • Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 11/02/23 Full Review MariaF I have enjoyed season 2 as much as season 1 of Why Women Kill netflix. The writing is done so well, the acting is perfection. Never a dull moment. All the actors and actresses top notch. I have to say I enjoyed actress Veronica Falcon season 2. Her voice perfect for the role. She does funny/serious quiet well. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/11/23 Full Review Monika G I was extremely hopeful for this season, I loved the first one. However, from the very first episode, it seemed like it just wasn't going to be good. The fact that there was only one story immediately took away much of the charm of the show. It was good precisely because of how masterfully the three different timelines intertwined and connected. With that gone, I found myself bored a lot of times while watching. It got repetitive and the character of Alma, at first interesting, became extremely annoying and one dimensional. The way her insanity progressed was badly written, she came off as stupid. I absolutely hated the ending. As a viewer, at the end I am hoping for resolution and justice and that just wasn't it. Not for Rita, definitely not for Alma, not for anybody, to be honest. Lazy writing. It was like a slap in the face. I am super disappointed and quite amazed at how a show can have one season that is fantastic from start to finish and then tank it so badly the next season. It honestly feels like two completely different shows. Rated 0.5/5 Stars • Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews
